Through a one-on-one private consultation, Nikki, Graduate Gemologist and Founder of Nicole Mera, will help guide you through the experience of buying or creating a one-of-a-kind engagement ring, wedding bands, or piece of custom fine jewelry.

THE CUSTOM PROCESS
Step One
INITIAL CONSULTATION
At an initial consultation, Nikki and you discuss budget, design goals, diamond/stone preferences, and time frame. Nikki also has a selection of jewels that help with design inspiration. Nikki will detail what to expect from start to finish. If you are unable to meet in person, Nikki can work with you by zoom/email/text.
Step Two
DIAMOND/GEMSTONE SELECTION
Beauty and rarity are important qualities when selecting the perfect gemstone or natural diamond to represent your love and commitment. Nikki understands the qualities a stone must have in order for it to stand above the rest. Nikki only works with GIA certified Diamonds and with reputable diamond & colored gemstone manufacturers to ensure that you not only receive a beautiful and high-quality stone, but one that is also responsibly sourced.
Step Three
MANUFACTURING
Nikki will oversee the production from start to finish. Each piece is handcrafted by the most skilled artisans, each of whom has vast experience with hand fabrication and a complete understanding of how to handle your precious gemstones and diamonds.
Step Four
DELIVERY
Upon completion, Nikki will set up a final consultation to deliver your custom piece of fine jewelry in our signature Nicole Mera pink box. This is also the time we will discuss the appraisal, insurance, care details, and any other final details. If you are a remote client, Nikki will overnight and insure your piece of jewelry for a safe and secure delivery.
FAQs
A minimum 50% deposit is required to begin production on any custom order. Please note that stones cannot be held without a deposit and may be shown to other clients if you're not ready to proceed. The remaining balance is due upon delivery or shipment.
In some cases, a deposit may be required before sourcing or selecting specific stones, which will be applied toward the total cost of your custom piece.
Beauty and rarity are essential when selecting the perfect gemstone or diamond to symbolize your love and commitment. Nikki knows what it takes for a stone to truly stand out. That's why she exclusively works with GIA-certified diamonds and partners with reputable gemstone suppliers, ensuring you receive not only a stunning, high-quality stone but one that is responsibly sourced as well.
After selecting the stone and finalizing the design details, Nikki will provide a formal Quote Sheet for your approval, outlining every aspect of the project and including visual references. This step ensures that every detail is captured before production begins. Please note that due to the nature of custom, hand-fabricated jewelry, the final piece cannot be previewed until it is completed.
If you don't live in Texas, no problem!
Nikki is excited to work with you remotely and will seamlessly communicate via email, text, or Zoom to design your custom fine jewelry piece. You can expect detailed information, high-quality videos, and images that accurately depict your final product.
Remote clients may request to view stones or jewelry in person, but full payment is required in order to do so.
